Welcome to 4 Minute Fridays, my weekly newsletter, where I reveal cutting-edge tips to help you get lean, boost energy, and live longer.
What's In Store For Today:
- The best type of cardio to burn visceral fat
- Breakthrough study on how to improve eyesight
- The one article every ambitious person must read
Today's issue is brought to you by Create.
As you know, I'm a huge fan of creatine.
It's the supplement I recommend to most of my clients looking to improve body composition, maximize strength, increase daily energy, and even boost cognition.
The brand I take is Create. They popularized creatine gummies and are all over the place (Joe Rogan, Kim Kardashian, and Adam Levine are big fans).
I've talked in the past about how I prefer their powders over the gummies, but they just introduced a sour cherry flavor, and I must admit they did a great job!
The best part?
All products use Creapure creatine monohydrate, which is the best form of creatine on the planet and is tested by third parties like Eurofins for potency and safety.

Hey friend,
One day, the Buddha was teaching beneath a banyan tree.
A man in the crowd, filled with anger, began shouting at him: "You're a fraud! A manipulator!"
The Buddha remained calm, continuing his teachings as if nothing had happened.
The man grew louder, hurling insults, trying to provoke a reaction.
Finally, he shouted: "Why won't you respond?"
The Buddha paused, then asked him: "If someone offers you a gift and you do not accept it, who does it belong to?"
The man replied: "To the one who offered it."
The Buddha nodded: "I do not accept your anger. It remains with you."
The crowd sat stunned in silence. The man, expecting a battle, was left only with his own rage.
Remember, you are not obligated to accept the emotional chaos others try to hand you. Refuse the gift, and it stays with them.
Reaction is a choice, not a command
That said...
Here Is Your 4 Minute Friday:
1. The Best Type Of Cardio To Burn Visceral Fat
Over the summer, I’ve been hitting the track every Sunday to sprint.
One major reason? Sprinting is one of the most effective ways to burn off visceral fat, which is the dangerous fat around your organs.
(If you're unfamiliar with visceral fat, it’s the kind that silently increases your risk for disease. Learn more here).
Best part? It takes just 15 minutes and beats an hour of jogging for fat loss.
Multiple meta-analyses show that high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and sprint intervals consistently outperform steady-state cardio for reducing visceral fat.
They nearly double the amount lost compared to moderate-intensity workouts.
This kind of training triggers a potent hormonal response that directly targets abdominal fat. Also, your metabolism can stay elevated for hours afterward, meaning you’ll be burning fat even while chilling on the couch.
But don’t overdo it. One hard sprint session a week is enough to shift the fat-loss odds in your favor.
Want to lose the belly? I’ll see you at the track.
2. Breakthrough Study On How To Improve Eyesight
Scientists just discovered something that almost sounds impossible:
Shining a red light on your chest (not your eyes) can improve your vision the next day.
Researchers exposed people to specific red light wavelengths (830-860 nm) on their chest area for just 15 minutes.
Their eyes were completely covered during the treatment. The result? better vision the following day.
Red light penetrates deep into your body, even through your clothing, and powers up your mitochondria.
When these energy factories function more efficiently, your visual system improves.
The best way to get these red wavelengths is through natural sunlight, especially early in the morning and late in the afternoon.
Just 15 minutes of natural sunlight on your torso (even through light clothing) might enhance your visual performance.
Instead of staying inside all day, try getting at least 15 minutes of sunlight, and your eyes might thank you for it.
❤️ My Favourite Thing This Week
Note: Only read this if you are ambitious and love personal responsibility.
One of my favorite internet personalities is George Mack, and I would consider this article to be one of his best works.
High agency means being intentional, resourceful, and taking charge of your life even if it's hard or uncomfortable.
It separates vague wishes from clear, concrete goals and breaks down big ambitions into actionable steps with a bias toward action.
Now, the only drawback (or what some would consider a benefit) is the mindset of extreme ownership.
This article from George has moved me, especially considering that I do identify myself as being a highly ambitious person.
If you have big goals in life and want to achieve them, I highly recommend reading his article.
Client Of The Week - Garrett Smith, Entrepreneur
Garrett is an entrepreneur who used to feel stuck, battling poor eating habits, extra weight, and low energy.
In just months, he dropped 48 lbs, lost 10 inches off his waist, and cut his body fat from 33.5% to 21.8%. He’s gone from struggling with daily activity to running freely without feeling winded, all while developing a healthier mindset around night eating and snacking.
Here's how we did it:
- Focused on sustainable nutrition, building better habits one step at a time.
- Used strength-based workouts to maximize fat loss while preserving muscle.
- Built a flexible routine that worked with his busy lifestyle.
The best part? Garrett didn't just lose the weight; he created a new operating system for making better choices every day and becoming the type of person who gets these changes on automatic.
One Quote To Finish Your Week Strong
“You’ve got to visualize where you’re headed and be very clear about it. Take a Polaroid picture of where you are going to be in a few years.”
― Sara Blakely (Inventor of Spanx)
I was having a conversation with one of our superstar clients, Richard.
You see, he had dropped 30+ pounds with us and mentioned that a big benefit of working with us was installing a new operating system in his mind and having a clear vision of where he wanted to end up.
When embarking on any goal, first believe that you can achieve it. Next, you must see it in your mind before you see it in reality.
As promised, get healthier in under 4 minutes.
